The Precision Sails Standard for Quality requires all of our sails and custom products to go through an intensive quality control check in both design and production stages to ensure your sail is exactly as designed. This process involves checking measurements, quality of material, and hardware for the high quality we strive to produce.

The Precision Sails Rock-Solid Warranty

All of our Dacron and Laminate sails are monitored for defects in design, craftsmanship, shape-holding, and performance. In the unlikely event that a warranty is required, we will work with you to either repair your sail or make you a new sail.

Global Shipping and Service

Precision Sails works with local lofts near your home or your destination to make sure we are able to provide coverage in the event something goes wrong. Global shipping means you can get your sail wherever you are, and in the case of a replacement, your new sail will arrive safely and quickly.

Please note that coverage of warranty shipping is limited to the price of shipping from the initial delivery address. Any additional fees incurred in shipping due to change in location of your vessel will not be covered.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your sail, give us a call and we will take care of you.

On-Time Delivery

Delivery typically takes place up to 5 to 7 weeks after confirmation of measurements, depending on cloth and seasonal demands. We work hard to ensure you get your sail within the stated time frame as indicated on your invoice. Please note that special order cloth, hardware, or order promotions may increase the delivery time. Speak with a sail consultant if you have questions about our current turn-around times or if you need your sail in a rush.

No matter what your issue is, the Precision Sails Team has got you covered.

Covid took over the world and I had the sails shipped to a relative in the US. My boat is in the US so I couldn’t get to it. I asked Precision Sails if they would honor their warranty until I can install them: they said absolutely. Summer 2022: we were finally allowed to cross the border. The genoa was fine but the main sail was too thick to furl in the mast, the reinforced tack and hoist point were the culprits. So we manage to find a sail maker in Canada to modify the main. Precision Sails paid everything, transport and modifications to achieve the final result. They hold their word no matter what and plus if the modified sail wouldn’t fit again they would have made another one at no charge. WOW! Thank you Precision Sails!

We love the design, quality, construction, and performance of our new 95% furling jib from Precision Sails. The sail works well with our staysail and performs better than expected on all points of sail including poled out dead down wind. The new 95% jib does not get as overpowered as our old 135% Genoa and it is easier to tack with the staysail deployed. This summer was our first experience buying a new sail for our Catalina 28MkII, we also race-crew a friend’s C&C 27 with newer Precision main and Genoa.
