Welcome to Sailing Ruby Rose

Back in 2012 Nick and Terysa left their jobs in busy London, rented out their flat and set off for adventure on SV Ruby Rose! Since then they have traveled more than 20,000 nautical miles, sailing the Atlantic Coast of Europe, the tropics of the Caribbean, the South Pacific, and even through the French Canals.

After dreaming for years of the live aboard lifestyle, Nick and Terysa decided to make their dream a reality and purchased the Southerly 38 which would become SV Ruby Rose! Although they had spent some time sailing Nick’s Hanse 32, Ruby Rose would be their first blue water cruising experience. After sailing for a number of years, crossing the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean, these two took on their next challenge of creating and documenting their travels through their YouTube channel.

After eight years of sailing Ruby Rose, Nick and Terysa are ready for their next chapter. SV Ruby Rose 2, a Seawind 1260, will be ready to set sail in January of 2022!
