Portability

The LX Series of boats from Takacat feature their revolutionary, fully removable Tube Transom.

This sleek, minimal design helps make Takacat LX Series boats approximately 15 lbs lighter than traditional inflatable boats.

Due to the fully removable transom, your Takacat can be packed down small enough to be checked baggage on a flight, thrown into the trunk for a weekend adventure, or even tossed into bench seat storage.

Ultra Stable Catamaran Design

Takacat Boat’s low resistance, lightweight design allows for quick and level planing, with fantastic fuel economy as well as stability! Low draft, buoyant inflatable catamaran constructions allows you to navigate through extremely shallow water, as well as giving you the capability to get further up on the beach or boat ramp before grounding your boat.

Fast Draining Open Bow and Tube Transom

Takacat’s unique Tube Transom design, in combination with the fully open bow, allows the bow of your boat to continuously drain. The quick and constant deck draining helps keep the deck dry and prevents a buildup of water from building up inside your boat. This is hugely advantageous with sensitive gear on board, or when the boat is being towed.

Bold Color Options

Open Bow Design for Easy Entry

With the open bow, raised deck and rigid air deck floor, boarding cargo and passengers is effortless whether it is from the beach, from a dock, or even from another vessel. The shallow draft of the boat makes it as easy to enter and exit from the water as it is from a dock, even for kids and pets!

Durable Hull Tube Construction

All Takacat Boats are available in both PVC and Hypalon fabric construction. The standard tubes are specially designed from durable custom 0.9mm, 1000 denier PVC.

The Digital and Woodland Camo models use a thicker PVC (1mm, 1200 denier) to provide extra tear and rub resistance in flooded timber and murky, backcountry water.

Custom orders can be made for Hypalon fabric, which provides premium UV protection and resistance to extreme temperatures.
