Portability

The S Series of boats from Takacat feature their revolutionary, fully removable Tube Transom.

This sleek, minimal design helps make Takacat S Series boats approximately 15 lbs lighter than traditional inflatable boats.

Due to the fully removable transom, your Takacat can be packed down small enough to be checked baggage on a flight, thrown into the trunk for a weekend adventure, or even tossed into bench seat storage.

Ultra Stable Catamaran Design

Takacat Boat’s low resistance, lightweight design allows for quick and level planing, with fantastic fuel economy as well as stability! Low draft, buoyant inflatable catamaran constructions allows you to navigate through extremely shallow water, as well as giving you the capability to get further up on the beach or boat ramp before grounding your boat.

Fast-Draining Tube Transom

Takacat’s unique Tube Transom design allows for far superior draining. This helps to keep water from building up inside the boat. This is especially important when sensitive gear is stored on board, or when towing.

Tapered Bow for Easier Boarding

Unlike the LX model, the Takacat Sport bow tapers down to an 11” diameter. This allows for easier boarding than most traditional inflatables without a tapered tube.

Deeper Bow for More Storage and Buoyancy

The Sport series of boats from Takacat have a closed bow. This creates a pocket that allows you to carry more gear, and store more weight in the bow of the boat for a balanced ride. In the shorter models, such as the T260S and the T300S, the sport model’s closed bow allows for more buoyancy, allowing passengers to sit further forward in the boat, without getting wet.

Durable Hull Tube Construction

All Takacat Boats are available in both PVC and Hypalon fabric construction. The standard tubes are specially designed from durable custom 0.9mm, 1000 denier PVC.

The Digital and Woodland Camo models use a thicker PVC (1mm, 1200 denier) to provide extra tear and rub resistance in flooded timber and murky, backcountry water.

Custom orders can be made for Hypalon fabric, which provides premium UV protection and resistance to extreme temperatures.
