Precision Sails is pleased to announce their support of Sailing Uma. Dan and Kika met while going to school for architectural design and founded their own succesful firm. However, this lifestyle became lackluster quickly and they felt stuck until they realized, "we both dreampt a bigger world existed than the one we grew up in and longed to see it for ouselves". They realized quickly that they had gotten stuck in a materialistic lifestyle, and began to sell everything they owned. They sold their computers, clothes and furniture and bought a 1972 Pearson 36, and named her Uma. This began the lifelong dream of sailing the world, experencing what it has to offer while giving back as much as they can. In 2018 Kika took part in organizing and participating in the Haiti Sailing cup. The passion and drive these two have for the lifestyle they have chosen is echoed in the ways they give back to the global community. Precision Sails are watching in awe as these two change the world.
