Dustin experienced a devastating motorcycle accident in 2008 when he was in head on in a collision with a drunk driver. He ended up losing his left arm and leg and almost his life.

After a long road to recovery and time to ponder his future plans, Dustin decided to do something different with his life and made the decision to begin a life of sailing!

Since then, Dustin has visited more than 25 countries and sailed more than 30,000 nautical miles aboard SV Tiama, a Bristol 35.5.

Dustin chooses to live in connection with the earth, the ocean, and the inhabitants which live on her. He shares his journey to inspire people to live in alignment with their passions and Precision Sails is proud to support him in his quest!
