Welcome to Calico Skies Sailing

Grace and Bill are college sweethearts from Manhattan College. After graduating they thought it was time to invest in a Bill’s lifelong passion of sailing. In the summer of 2009 they bought their 1985 Sabre 36, Calico Skies. Slowly they started spending more and more time onboard, eventually getting rid of their apartment. In the fall of 2017 Bill quit his job to get the boat fully prepared for their first trip south to the Caribbean and Grace joined him soon after.

Grace and Bill have traveled over 25,000 nautical miles, crossed the Atlantic ocean twice and ventured to more than 20 countries.

They don’t always know where they’re going, but they’re always heading somewhere.
