Welcome to Breaking Waves Sailing

Alie and Ben live aboard SV Kiana, a 1989 Sceptre 41. They began their sailing adventures in the waters of British Columbia, Canada and recently completed the process of refitting Kianna to bring her back to her former glory.

They are motivated to disprove the idea that sailing and surfing can’t work together, or at least have a lot of fun while trying.

They are supported by Bruce, aka Bruce the Goose, their salty sea dog who is most happy when he can mope on deck.
