Shawn and Jessie are embracing the adventurous and exciting life of live abroad sailors. Having never lived on a sailboat, they decided to take their can-do attitude and approach sailing with an off-the-grid/self-reliant style using solar, electric motor and water-maker to be independent no matter where the wind takes them.

Shawn and Jessie are refitting their sailboat SV Gone with the Wind, a 1972 Gulfstar 36 and learning to sail her at the same time. There’s always something to be fixed or upgraded and these two are always ready to tackle the next project!
