Chris and Marissa became the proud owners and crew of Avocet, and are supported by third mate, Cleo their adorable boat cat.

They purchased SV Avocet, a Cheoy Lee 41, in 2018 as newlyweds fresh out of college with a small budget and a dream to explore what lies beyond the horizon.

Ever since, they have been working hard to update and restore their beautiful SV Avocet, while sailing and exploring the California coast.
