C.S. 30 Sailboat
C.S. 30 was first designed by Tony Castro, and it is a Canadian sailboat introduced early in 1984. The company which dealt with the production of C.S. 30 was Canadian Sailcraft. It was their most successful design and produced over 500 boats during the production period of 1984 and 1990.
Like its predecessors, C.S. 30 is a relatively smaller keelboat and mainly built of fiberglass but included wood trim. This boat has a masthead sloop rig, reverse transom, and a fixed fin keel with the mounted spade-type rudder. It can carry 3440 lb (1560 kg) and displaces 8000 lbs (3629 kg) of ballast. C.S. 30 has a draft of 5.50 ft (1.68m), and it has a standard keel of 4.25 ft (1.30 m), 4.5 ft (1.4 m) with the optional wing keel and optional shoal draft keel. C.S. 30 is fitted with a Volvo diesel engine of 18 hp (13 kW). The fuel tank of C.S. 30 has 19 U.S. gallons (72L; 16 imp gal). The freshwater tank has 30 U.S. gallons (110 L; 25 imp gal).
