I have worked in the Marine industry for the last 10 years and enjoy sharing stories with customers and helping them choose a sail that best fits their needs.

Andreas Zobolas
Design Team Manager | Lead Designer
Andreas oversees the design department and makes sure that it is running like a well-oiled machine. He was born in Kalamata Greece and grew up sailing and fishing everyday with his family, many generations of which where sailors to look up to… all the way back to Poseidon! Andreas went to the University of Chicago for graphic design and pursued culinary school in Greece and Vancouver. He still enjoys sailing however it seems he is always the one cooking when out with friends.
“Creating something out of nothing. The idea of creating something pleasing to the eye but also functional. I believe functionality and aesthetics go hand in hand. I enjoy ensuring that our sails not only perform at a higher caliber, but also look great doing so. Every time that I sail, I discover a new place, a new experience and it is always unique. All the stresses and problems of every day are placed on hold and are all left behind at the dock.”

He has traveled to 38 different countries and plans on going to another 5 within the next year. Graeme grew up on the West Coast spending time at his family's cabin on Pender Island. He enjoys sailing dinghys mostly 420’s and Lazers because they’re so small and agile, even if they can capsize easily, his favorite thing about them is how they can make a small inlet feel like an entire ocean. Technical and hands-on Graeme is one of our Junior Sail Designers in training and prides himself on his unparalleled thoroughness.

Richard grew up in Scotland yet spent nearly every summer of his life sailing with friends and family in the waters of beautiful British Columbia. He met his wife and then moved to Hong Kong, where they ran a jewelry and watch production business together for more than ten years. "Sailing is a passion of mine. Life has led me to Hong Kong, then back to the sailing world again." As the Production Manager for Precision Sails, Richard’s responsibilities include ensuring that every sail is completed to the exact spec as designed and maintaining a high level of quality control.
“In the watch business, every detail needs to be precise. If it isn’t perfect then it’s not good enough. I am proud to bring the same attitude to making sails and working beside sailmakers with 20 plus years of expertise has been phenomenal. We have a thorough process which starts with checking the quality of a sails design, resource availability, and finally the finishing details.”
