Hillary and Ty met in 2012 and connected over their shared passion for adventure. Both share a love of travel and embracing the culture, food and people of the places they visit. Realizing that their careers were unable to support their dreams of travel and exploration, they made plans and started their lives full of sailing and adventure!

There have been several vessels in Hillary and Ty’s quest to seek adventure and sail. The stated their journey with a 982 Pearson 367 SV Varuna, and then began the process of refitting SV Makara, and in late 2020 purchased SV Yaringa, a Passport 40.

Hillary and Ty are off on their next adventure to “live unconventionally” and Precision Sails is excited to join them on their explorations!
